ASOS HAUL 2019 Part 2

Hello beautiful people! I felt that it was necessary to post an update regarding my first ASOS experience. If you missed the initial post, please take a minute to check it out first....no worries, I'll be here when you return :-)

I made my initial purchase on 11/26/2018 and received notification that it would be delivered by 11/26/2018. Understanding that ASOS is based out of the UK, I was weary that the delivery estimation was incorrect.

I did some research and became overly optimistic after finding out that ASOS has a warehouse in Atlanta, Georgia US. No need to get excited, the package was out for delivery on 11/30/2018 which is still reasonable for the distance.

I was in love with most of the items, but I returned everything but one piece.

The quality was up to par and pricing was fair but I didn't choose the correct sizing. The size charts are not consistent throughout the website probably due to the various brands.

Not to worry, this is why I signed up for ASOS Premier delivery. After much deliberation, I requested a return label and shipped the items back on 12/18/2018. The funds were returned back to my account on January 7, 2019, which was a bit untimely, in my opinion. I will keep in mind that the holidays may have altered the response time.

With that being said, I will continue my hunt in expanding my wardrobe but in the meantime, check out the remaining items from my first ASOS haul:

This Prettylittlething oversized coat was "one size fits all" which is interesting because it doesn't stretch. It fit well, on me, especially since there was a belt attached for snitching the waist. I returned this item because the material was thinner than I expected.

Has anyone else fallen in love with the minimal line drawing shirts yet? This face t-shirt was calling my name, but the placement made me second guess my decision.
I'm still on the hunt for minimal sketch clothing pieces.

This blouse was the keeper. I was sure that this would be a great birthday look paired with a pencil skirt. I had a hard time keeping the girls concealed, so this piece hasn't made her debut yet.

Any suggestion on how to what to wear underneath plunging necklines?

  1. I like the plunging blouse. You could wear a boob tube underneath or a vest.

  2. That blouse looks amazing on you, way better than on the model. I do like the print on that t-shirt, but if you don't like the placing than it might not work for you. The coat looks lovely but yes the material seems thin, I think it's more of a spring coat.
Great to read about your experience.

  6. Oooh I love the gray coat! These are cute pieces, and for the plunging neckline, I definitely recommend a bralette. A black bralette would be super cute with that rust color. Thanks for sharing you experience :)
